WE NEED Panfork ADVOCATES

What is a Panfork Advocate?  

The dictionary defines advocate as one who “speaks in favor of; recommends; argues for a cause; defends; pleads on another’s behalf; an intercessor”.  Panfork needs such a person from every church in the Top O’ Texas Baptist Association.

What will the Panfork Advocate do?

The people that represent each Top O’ Texas church as a “Panfork Advocate” will:

·       Pray for Panfork, its special ministries, and programs

·       Promote events, programs, and needs of the ministry

·       Pass on to others news about happenings at Panfork

·       Present Panfork’s exciting mission to others

·       Passionately inspire and encourage others to support this ministry

Who should this person be?

The advocate SHOULD BE someone who has a desire to commit to learning about the wonderful ministry of Panfork and be willing to live up to the definition of being an “Advocate”. 

Can there be more than one from each church?

Yes, in fact it might work better if you had more than one.  Each advocate in the church could help hold the other accountable, and be a prayer partner for this ministry.

As a “Panfork Advocate”, you will be invited to a yearly planning forum.  This will give you an opportunity to see first hand the facilities, hear and celebrate the good news of this ministry and participate in strategic planning for the future.  You will be able to represent your church and pass on joys or concerns your congregations, church staff, etc. might have about Panfork.  This forum will most likely be held each fall as we lead into the budget and planning process for the coming year.
